Before I kick off my monthly photo recaps, I wanted to post a photographic year-in-review of 2011. Here are my favorite pics of 2011 Jan-May. (With very brief captions.) I say this every year, but I still can't believe its 2012!
Sassy Baby Ariel
My big girl started losing teeth!
Oh Cameron, those big beautiful eyes & lashes are my fave part of your handsome face.
Recreation of Macy's Cal Poly sweatshirt pic. In my (expert) opinion, they really don't look alike at all when you compare them age-for-age. But they have the same smile, so when you put a hood over Ariel's hair and you get her smiling, she looks like big sis!
Oh yes, and she's much crazier than Macy was at this age.
Disney On Ice with the kids is always so much fun.
Snuggling sibs.
More snuggling... Oh how this pic makes me miss my awesome couch!
So many hours of my life have been spent next to the big peninsula counter, with a baby in this seat.
Crazy baby. I feel like she looks like she's smoking a stogie.

Let the family bike rides resume! Baby was finally big enough = Happy Daddy
My first time playing Leprechaun tricks on the kids for St Patty's day: green eggs for dinner.
Road Rage Baby
Spring cleaning!
Macy in all her dirt bike glory.
Snuggling with Papa at the desert
Love the disproportion of the helmet head!
Daddy dirt bike rides!
Dirty Brady. Dirty Cameron. Dirty Cody. Oh how I despise post-desert laundry!
I will never forget the hours C spent with his cars in our backyard last year. HOURS.
(This was his race car wash station)

My swinging spring babies.
I just adore my sweet Macy
Macy's egg survived the Maidu Egg Drop!
This pic also captures her all-time fave dress. She pretty much wore it every day she could.

Toddler obsession with toilet paper = Weird
Thanks to Pinterest, I found all sorts of great photo gift ideas. For example this gift for the grandmas:
Three Generations at our Mother's Day Tea
This little girl had her first birthday!
Found yet another great photo idea on Pinterest.
Dress-up is a big deal in our house.
And thanks to our love for the Chronicles of Narnia, there were many epic battles.
Ariel had a brief obsession with her helmet. Not my first child who has done this.
Sister Love
This picture is just too hilarious. I am not a morning person! Ariel is.
By the time summer was upon us, Ariel was getting to a very fun stage.
We really enjoyed our house & backyard before we moved!
To be continued...
