Yes, her birthday was a few months ago and this post is late. But that doesn't make it any less special :) For her party she chose "water" as her theme. She invited a lot of friends and they all played in our big fat kiddie pool for a while. I made a water balloon pinata by tying water balloons to a rack and suspending it from our play structure - the guests tried to pop the water balloons while Macy sat underneath and got soaked with each pop :) Jon turned our backyard into a crazy water obstacle course that included running through pool noodles, a slip n slide, carrying a giant water balloon across a balance beam, and jumping into the kiddie pool at the end. It was a pretty insane party for mom but all the girls seemed to have fun and at one point I overheard Macy say, "This is best party EVER." If that's not success and joy to hear as a mom, I don't know what is. Happy Birthday precious girl, I hope you know how much you are loved!
